so everyone knows i got time for goofing off on the comp now, as opposed to before where i didn't have time and did it anyway.
i got an unusual deal going that i haven't run into before.
last week i discovered a little bird had made a nest under my carport in an old hat i left on a shelf. she had 3 babys and has been doing the usual feeding stuff. well i had planned to clean the carport and the utility room this week but the mom was raising so much of a ruckus with me for being around the babys i figured i could give her a few days . so yesterday i saw her apparently giving preflight instructions to them and shortly there after they were all gone. except for one little fat guy(or fluffy maybe) who's not picking it up to quick. i kept an eye on him last evening till after dark and he just hopped and fluttered around the carport but didn't venture out any further. i worry about the neighbors cats who i've had to run off a few times.
well anyway i looked out this morning around sun up and he was still sitting there but a little later i went out and he was gone. good i said and started cleaning up the place. i worked for about an hour when theres a fluttering sound and he comes back and lights on my garden tiller right next to me chirping and holding his mouth open like hes waiting to be fed. i try to ignore him but hes following me around even into the utility room. sitting there and waiting for some food i'm sure. WTF i think i sure ignore him and let nature handle it, but nature can be pretty cruel. i think this is what type bird he (she) is.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolina… i don't really see much i can do but ignore , or maybe hold off on the cleaning for another day. would be cool to have a pet bird though... naw doubt Daisy would go for it, or maybe she would. what do you think?
